Healthcare AI changes the decisions we have to make.
As AI moves into clinical and healthcare environments, the questions become more consequential. What evidence is enough? Where should human judgment remain essential? What happens when models, data, workflows or clinical practice change after deployment?
An AI model can perform well technically and still leave important questions unanswered. Is it appropriate for the patients it will serve? How does it fit into clinical decision-making? Who is accountable for its use? And how do we know when something has changed enough that it needs to be reviewed again?
These are the healthcare AI questions I’m most interested in, where technology, clinical practice, governance and operational reality meet.
I bring in more than two decades of enterprise technology leadership across complex and regulated organizations. I've led large-scale technology, product and transformation work across healthcare, financial services, telecommunications and technology, which shapes how I think about AI once it leaves the demo environment and has to work inside an actual organization.
